So, in the vein of the Julie/Julia project but lacking such creativity, here is my first attempt at a blog about my upcoming non-nuptial commitment ceremony soiree. I believe this may be an appropriate outlet as my fiancée, kind and patient as she may be, probably is a bit tired of hearing about the orange vs. tangerine vs. melon vs. kumquat signature color hue debacle. I jest, as in all honesty, I couldn't care less about the description of a hue but rather, evoking the kind of atmosphere I am going for is of absolute highest importance. I want to create the kind of warmth and love and beauty our friends, family and loved ones have created for us in welcoming our uncustomary love into their worlds.

So, here's to it...to me and the web and creating our perfect space in our perfect worlds, if even just for a night.
